About Ramona Berkel
Who I am
Ramona Berkel is a motivational and transformational speaker working across the Caribbean and internationally. Her work focuses on resilience, self-belief, dignity, and inner leadership - especially in contexts shaped by adversity, pressure, and responsibility.
She combines lived experience with professional expertise in safeguarding, domestic violence prevention, and social safety. Her approach is grounded, direct, and focused on ownership rather than victimhood.
Professional background & mission
Over the past years, Ramona has worked closely with women, leaders, and organizations navigating complex social and personal challenges. Through this work, she observed that people rarely lack strength — but often lose belief in themselves when systems, pressure, or adversity take over.
Her mission is to help individuals and organizations reconnect with their inner leadership, regain clarity, and act with dignity and responsibility — both personally and professionally.
What I do
Ramona’s work operates at the intersection of inspiration and implementation.
She delivers:
- Keynote talks and facilitated sessions on resilience, self-belief, and leadership from within
- Safeguarding & Protection Code implementation support for organizations and networks
- Advisory and reflection sessions for leaders and professionals working under pressure
Her sessions are not theoretical. They are experiential, reflective, and directly applicable to real-world practice.
How I work
Ramona works trauma-informed, dignity-centered, and responsibility-based.
She believes that sustainable change happens when people feel seen, safe, and capable — not when they are pushed or fixed.
Her work is suitable for:
- NGOs and foundations
- Government and semi-government organizations
- Community leaders and facilitators
- Awareness, prevention, and empowerment programs
